TRIS, Ultra Pure Grade, 1 KG Warning Tris powderis commonly used in biological and electrophoresis buffer systems including Tris-Acetate-EDTA (TAE), Tris-Boric Acid-EDTA (TBE), Tris-Phosphate-EDTA (TPE), and Tris-Glycine (TG) buffers. The useful buffer range for TRIS of 7 - 9 coincides with the physiological pH typical of most living organisms. This is thereason it is one of the most common buffersused in the biology/biochemistry laboratory. Concentrated stock buffer solutions can be made with IntelixBiomolecular biology grade tris powder.
