Lamda DNA EcoRI/HindIII Marker 5x250ul 【Storage】 Keep the product at -20˚C for long term storage. One year at 4˚C and 3 months at room termperature. Avoid freeze-thaw cycle. 【Product Description】 This production is composed with 11 bands of linear double strands DNA, pre-mixed with loading buffer. Suitable for the reference to DNA molecular weight standard in agarose gel electrophoresis. The eleven bands of DNA fragments are: 564bp, 831bp, 947bp, 1375bp, 1584bp, 1904bp, 2027bp, 3530bp, 4268bp, 4973bp, 5148bp and 21226bp (see below). 【Components】 10 mM TrisCl (pH 8.4), 10 mM EDTA, 0.02% Bromophenol Blue, 5% Glycerol. 【Protocol】 1. Recommended for 1.0-2.0% Agarose gel, not for PAGE electrophoresis. 2. 1x TAE or 0.5-1x TBE can be used as the electrophoresis buffer. Voltage 6-8 V/cm gel length, electrophoresis time: 20~40 minutes. Voltage 20-30V/cm gel length, electrophoresis time: 10~15 minutes 3. Take 5-10ul marker to loading well using a pipette according to the width of the well. 4. Load all the DNA samples and start the electrophoresis. 5. After the electrophoresis is done, stain the gel with Ethidium Bromide (EB) or other DNA staining dye to view the bands. 【Caution】 1. The stability of this product has been tested: there is no bands pattern change after 3 months sitting in room temperature. It is recommended to put the product in low temperature to avoid the degradation caused by the nuclease contamination from inappropriate operation. 2. Do NOT heat before use. 3. Change the electrophoresis buffer timely when the buffer capacity decreased, failure to do that will affect the resolution of the marker. 【Note】 This product is for research use only.
