This polymerase has 5-3DNA polymerase activity，5-3and 3-5exonuclease activity. Under normal PCR condition, it has higher amplification efficiency and lower mismatch synthesis rate. The enzyme has no polymerase activity at room temperature due to its chemical modification which prevented non-specific amplification resulted from non-specific priming or primer-dimer formation. The activation of this enzyme requires 10 minute incubation at 95℃ and such step can be integrated into PCR thermo-cycling program. Optimized buffer system maximizes enzymatic activity, resulting in high fidelity, high specificity, high amplification efficiency and highly sensitive amplification. Most PCR products using this product have a A nucleotide at 3 end, therefore the product can be used with T/A cloning system. This enzyme is routinely used for PCR, RT-PCR and multiplex-PCR applications. It is especially suitable for applications that has stringent requirement for specificity, fidelity and amplification efficiency. 【 Unit Definition 】 One unit （U） of the enzyme is defined as incorporating of 10 nmol deoxy nucleotide into acid insoluble material at 74℃，in 30 minutes, using Salmon sperm DNA as the template/primer. 【 Storage Condition 】 For long term storage, please store at -20˚C ，the shelf life is 24 months.
